Adaptation

The burning metallic flames
Blackened me with pain
My scream couldn’t save me
Through my blood fire trained.

The metals sublimed
And travelled into my bones
The pain was so much
And my tears were so dry.

The burning acupunctured every cell
In the suffering I dissolved
I could no longer feel
No longer cry.

If I were to exist
In hell for eternity
The burning fire
Would no longer cause me pain.

  1. "Acupunctured" definitely stands out. The connotation of the word within the tone and mood and well, general context of the poem is pretty apt.

I'm kinda guessing what your question might be. And if that is the question what I'm thinking, then it definitely does have an answer :)
